FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW

Inspected by Us.

A relatively modern yacht, VIVALDI yacht charter was built in 2018, making her amenities modern, her naval engineering sound, and her design luxurious, but modern. It is normal to expect a yacht measuring 29 meters to be able to take in 10 guests and allocate them to one of 5 cabins aboard. Guests will be sleeping in 3 double or 2 twin cabins, with the twin having an additional pullman berth, making VIVALDI yacht charter truly a versatile vessel. She is also equipped with a master suite on the main deck

Because of modular twin cabins, she can deliver a family vacation as equally good as she can serve as a launch pad for experiencing Croatia`s epic summer nightlife. There is nothing VIVALDI cannot do.

There will be a total of 5 crew members aboard, that will take care of you and the rest of your charter party. Prepare to enjoy a bespoke hospitality service and 5-star attention to detail, thanks to decades of experience in the yachting industry. Also, your crew will always be able to guide to through your Croatian vacation, due to their local know-how.

Among her numerous amenities, there are a few that stand out.

First, there is the main deck hydraulic balcony on the starboard side, which will extend the reach of the interior salon straight into the boundless sea. This arrangement will allow guests to enjoy their breakfast in a unique surrounding or to marvel at the glory of the Croatian sunset (proclaimed to be the most magnificent in the entire Mediterranean).

Also, the flybridge on VIVALDI yacht charter is equipped with several very comfortable sunbathing options, as well as a fully furnished wet bar and a hydraulic retractable hardtop roof, which can expose sunlight or shield guests with shade with a push of a button.

While underway or at anchor, guests will not feel any rolling, thanks to stabilizers that will make staying aboard VIVALDI seem like standing on solid ground. When it comes to spending time in the water and having fun in the sea, VIVALDI yacht charter offers incredibly diverse water toys for her guests. Since this yacht is an approved RYA water sports centre, you will get to enjoy professional tips and guidance, as well as have fun with your charter party.

A DAY ON THE YACHT

Book VIVALDI yacht charter with SuperYachts Croatia and experience the vastness and beauty of the southern Croatian Adriatic sea, by boarding this yacht in Dubrovnik. Known as the “Pearl of the Adriatic”, Dubrovnik is a historic city that rarely needs further introductions; its high walls and medieval architecture are known throughout the world, made famous by the popular TV show “Game of Thrones”, which greatly featured Dubrovnik and its surroundings.

By choosing Dubrovnik as your starting location, you can board a plane and land at the Dubrovnik airport from anywhere in the world, due to lots of connected and interconnected flights, that join Dubrovnik with the rest of the world.

Before you start your journey, you might want to consider booking a VIP shuttle transport from the airport to your yacht – everything is possible if you charter with SuperYachts Croatia.
Once you arrive at the foot of the great walls of Dubrovnik, you may opt for a quick tour around the fortifications, that span the entire diameter of the city or walk on its cobblestone streets and soak up the cosmopolitan atmosphere of international tourists mingling and exploring this unique city.

But, during the peak of the summer season, the crowds can sometimes grow to insufferable proportions, and combined with the summer heat, it is often best to avoid them altogether, choosing to return to Dubrovnik in the evening, when the air is lighter and the crowds fewer. Board VIVALDI yacht charter in the Dubrovnik marina and start your first day of charter in Croatia.

The maritime region of Dubrovnik incorporates many potential island targets for day trips, like Lokrum, Lopud of Šipan, but you have set your sights on Pelješac. The Pelješac peninsula is a long stretch of coast, located some 20 kilometres (approx. 10 nautical miles) from Dubrovnik, and it offers an incredibly atmospheric and indented coastline on its southern shores.

Being the second largest peninsula in Croatia, Pelješac has recently been connected with the Croatian mainland via a bridge, bypassing the Bosnian border that divides the southern part of Croatia from the rest of the mainland.

Peljašac is known to be a thriving agriculture centre, where olives, figs, lemons and almonds grow in abundance around plots of land walled by dry stone walls. Also, there are plenty of aromatic and medicinal wild herbs growing in Pelješac; ask your local crew to point out a few and prepare a rejuvenating tea made out of freshly picked herbs.

Pelješac is also a regional centre of winemaking, with its wine sorts being awarded international medals on global wine competitions, particularly the Dingač and Plavac Mali sorts.
There are also many sandy beaches that adorn the southern coastline of Pelješac, like Prapatno, Trstenik or Tresetnica beach.

You can also visit Ston, one of the last bastions of natural salt production in Europe; while you are here, you can check out its incredibly complex and long fortifications system, the longest in this part of the Mediterranean.

Once you arrive to Pelješac, you may let your local crew pick the perfect anchorage spot in a quiet bay, where you will get to enjoy a charming yacht lunch, followed by playing in the water with the numerous water toys aboard VIVALDI.

Sit at the main deck aft alfresco dining table and enjoy delicious dishes such as a traditional Croatian fish soup, followed by goose breast with girolles, caramelized artichokes and olive salad and a mini cranberry, orange and chocolate pavlova cake for dessert.

Following an incredible Michelin-level lunch, regain yourself in the air-conditioned interior salon, while you plan the rest of the afternoon. Once you have sufficiently rested, you may want to enjoy the wide selection of water toys on VIVALDI yacht charter.

After hitting the water, you might be enticed to go on a wine tour of one of the prominent Pelješac wineries, where wine tasting and cheese and prosciutto sampling may take up the bigger part of your day. Enjoy the scenery of this aromatic peninsula as your drive near old historic villages and beautiful nature.

Once you arrive, you will be thoroughly introduced to the wine-making process, touring the vineyards and observing the entire process of wine creation, from “grape to glass”.
Slight inebriation is strongly encouraged, and because one of your dedicated charter crew members is also acting as the designated driver, you can completely relax and enjoy the company of your charter party.

At dusk, return to VIVALDI yacht charter, as you planned to return to Dubrovnik in the evening, because you have a reserved table in 360 °, Dubrovnik`s Michelin restaurant.
During the trip from Pelješac to Dubrovnik, you can return to your cabin to pick the perfect attire for the evening, choosing a combination that will highlight the relaxed nature of your holiday, with a little formal flair and luxury styling; nothing too fancy, but fancy enough.

If you are finished before VIVALIDE reaches the walls of Dubrovnik, you may want to step onto the flybridge and enjoy the panorama of the cruise. Since the first stars began to appear in the sky, the whole atmosphere will seem that much more magical.

Arrive beneath the mighty walls of Dubrovnik and notice a change in the atmosphere; when you first arrived, there were bustling crowds everywhere and the white stone exuded heat. Now, it seems that the crowds have died down, and the air is lighter; you can even feel a refreshing breeze coming from the open sea.

Once VIVALDI yacht charter arrives in Dubrovnik, you may want to take that tour of the city you missed out on earlier or head straight to 360 ° and your reserved table, located on the battlements of one of Dubrovnik`s mighty walls.

Enjoy the blend between contemporary cooking techniques, fresh ingredients and local Croatian recipes as you dine on dishes such as mackerel with white turnip, potato and miso mayo and bonito dressing or smoked sea bass with mussels and sweet and sour fish sauce. For dessert, hot chocolate foam with chilled raspberry sorbet and basil.

After dinner, you might want to stroll the main Dubrovnik promenade and admire the architecture or just sit in a quaint cafe and people-watch while drinking cocktails. For extroverted guests, Dubrovnik also offers a good selection of exclusive nightclubs, where you can dance the night away in a luxurious surrounding, totally fitting the tone of a yacht holiday in Croatia.

Finally, you might also want to return to VIVALDI yacht charter and organize an intimate afterparty on the flybridge or the interior salon, incorporating Dubrovnik`s enchanting atmosphere by drinking premium champagne on your yacht charter.

Sleep at anchor near Dubrovnik, with its flickering lights acting as a perfect lullaby mechanism.

YACHT CHARTER DINING

Dining on yachts is always influenced by a number of factors, but not one so much as your preference sheet. Being precise before the start of your trip and specifying which food and ingredients you prefer will make a dramatic impact on your dining experience. Since the chef and the crew are professionals, they will adhere to your preference sheet to the letter, and not stray from it one bit.

This is done to avoid any potential dislikes, directly at the dining table. But, the crew and chef aboard VIVALDI yacht charter are also flexible, so if you do decide to change your mind, inform your crew and give them a little time to procure a specified ingredient, meat or appetizer.

Usually, a yacht vacation in Croatia means masses of locally-sourced fruits and vegetables, as well as native cheeses, wild herbs and spices, and incredibly-fresh seafood. The Croatian Adriatic sea is one of the cleanest seas in Europe, and thanks to its cleanliness, it is home to countless fish, crustaceans and shellfish, which will all end up on your dinner plate.

This means that you will enjoy plenty of seabass, cod and tuna, straight out of the Adriatic, but also shrimps, scampi, lobsters, octopi and squid. These bounties of the sea will be prepared by following local Croatian recipes, but with a Michelin twist.

The chef aboard VIVALDI yacht charter has had experience preparing food in Michelin restaurants, and as such is an expert in his craft. Knowing that half of any dining experience is fresh ingredients, your chef will procure fresh fish from local fishmongers, as well as have connections with eco-friendly farms and local suppliers, that will all have a part to play in your Michelin-level dining experience aboard VIVALDI yacht charter.

YACHT MAIN DECK

The exterior of VIVALDI yacht charter is modern and futuristic, with sharp lines that incorporate the newest trends of yacht designs and naval architecture, to bring charter guests closer to a bespoke luxury experience. The superstructure seems almost aggressively protruded into a forward momentum, making VIVALDI seem like she’s moving, even when stationary.

Guests will surely appreciate the subtle dynamic between her sleek surfaces and sharp borders, that almost remind of a sports car, rather than a yacht charter.

Her contemporary profile looks formidable on the water, attesting to her max speeds of 25 knots, which allow her to fly over your entire Croatian charter itinerary and still leave time for more locations.

For a complete tour of her amazing decks, it is best to start on the main deck aft. This section contains the first alfresco dining option (with the second being located on the flybridge) with a long sofa placed along the stern, parallel to a large dining table and several movable chairs. The starboard side staircase provides a connection to the flybridge, while the side decks on either side of the yacht connect the aft section with the bow sundeck.

The bow sundeck aboard VIVALDI yacht charter is an absolutely amazing part of the vessel, for several reasons. The main one is the layout of this space – on other yachts with the same length as VIVALDI, it is customary to see a single sunbed and maybe a bench, but VIVALDI takes it to another level.

First, there is a huge sunbed moulded into the superstructure, right in front of the helm station windshield. Providing a private and comfortable place where sun lovers can work on their bronze tan, the bow sundeck is also a place for lounging and sipping cocktails, due to the versatile exterior furniture. Right beneath the legroom of the sunbed is a wide sofa bench, orientated towards the bow and offering incredible vistas of the ever-shifting panorama, while VIVALDI yacht charter is underway.

Also, there are two small coffee tables, surrounded by C-shaped high-raised sofas, that follow the shape of the bow. With integrated recliner backrests, these seats can act as barstools and the raised coffee tables as mini-bars. Thanks to this arrangement, your crew can serve drinks and snacks to guests experiencing the bow sundeck, as if it were a regular deck on the yacht; a real accomplishment for a luxury vessel of under 30 meters.

Last but not least, a bimini cover can be put on steel pylons, providing shade to this entire area, effectively creating a totally independent area on the yacht, dedicated to lounging and sunbathing. Returning to the main deck aft, it is time to enter the interior and experience the arrangement of the indoor salon.

Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area

Soft, earthen colors create a soothing environment for guests to get in touch with nature and the sea, seeing that VIVALDI yacht charter successfully integrates the outside with the inside, by way of large floor-to-ceiling windows, huge glass sliding doors and hydraulic balconies, that extend the reach of the salon into the sea.

Right after entering through the glass sliding door from the main deck aft, guests are met with a large L-shaped sofa to starboard, with cabinetry, storage and shelve space to port.
There are incredible amounts of natural light, thanks to large windows on either side of the salon.

White dominates the furniture and the ceiling panels, while the floor is made exclusively out of dark wood floorboards, which have a cooling effect in the summer, seeing that guests have to walk barefoot on the yacht.

Moving onward, a big dining arrangement will provide a second option for eating, but in the interior, should weather conditions worsen. The interior dining table is done in white marble, complementing the overall color tone of the salon. Also, right across the dining table is the glass sliding door leading to the starboard hydraulic balcony, so you can enjoy a multi-platform dining experience, being able to take in the view of the sea while you eat inside, or sip a pre-meal martini on the balcony, before sitting down to dine in the salon.

There is a practical day head, located at the end of the portside corridor after the dining table, together with a stairway leading down to the lower deck. At the end of the main deck is the master suite, accessible through the starboard corridor, right after the dining table.

Yacht charter accommodation: main deck master suite

The main focus of the master suite is the centerline king-size berth, surrounded by angular windows on both sides, providing incredible views and plenty of daylight. In front of the berth is a flat-screen TV, as well as a walk-in closet on the starboard side and the entrance to the ensuite to port.

The color scheme of the main deck master mixes gray with traces of chestnut brown and plenty of white, to create an environment that mimics the natural environment of Croatia.
The light gray plush wool carpet is the complete opposite of the bare wooden floors in the salon, dedicated more to creating a bespoke luxury experience for the primary charter guests.

Subtle cabinetry adorns both sides of the cabin, with a table and a chair on the port side, enabling guests to fix their makeup, eat breakfast in privacy or spend some time on their laptops, answering emails or writing memos.

The berth has 2 big legroom extensions in form of plush stools, as well as a leather headroom décor and a reflective surface right above the berth, creating an illusion of a bigger space, as well as reflecting any incoming natural light. The master ensuite is covered with gray marble, contributing greatly to the overall luxurious feel of this yacht accommodation.

YACHT FLYBRIDGE

Using the starboard-placed staircase on the main deck aft, guests can climb up to the flybridge, which is very sleek and modern, yet retaining its naturality, despite the hardtop displaying some hard futuristic attributes. Regardless, the atmosphere on VIVALDI`s flybridge will create an exclusive environment, where you will get to enjoy the beautiful Adriatic nature in privacy and luxury.

The stern of the flybridge is reserved for sunbathing, thanks to movable sunchairs. Alternatively, your crew can make room and use this space for a variety of different purposes, like setting up a spot for practicing yoga or staying active on your holiday by improvising a yacht gym, so you can work out surrounded by beautiful nature and fresh, clean air, that will do wonders for your health and physique.

Moving forward, a fully equipped bar with a show-cooking grill station will be the star of the show every evening aboard VIVALDI yacht charter. Watch your chef prepare Michelin-level delicacies right in front of your eyes, and then have a taste in an environment of your choice – being berthed in a busy port town or in a secluded bay.

Right next to the wet bar, also to port, is the second alfresco dining option aboard VIVALDI, offering versatility when it comes to picking dining venues aboard your yacht. To starboard, a long sofa bench presents guests a place to sit after they are finished with their meal or just a seat from where they can enjoy the view while VIVALDI is cruising to your next exotic Adriatic destination.

At the flybridge bow is the exterior helm station, where you can observe your experienced captain steering your yacht towards new adventures; chat with the captain about unexplored locations in the Adriatic.

YACHT LOWER DECK

When it comes to guest accommodation, there are a few yachts in her class that can measure up to the comfort and the luxury of cabins aboard VIVALDI yacht charter. With 2 twin and 2 double cabins, there will be several different options for sleeping arrangements.

Yacht charter accommodation: double cabin

The most innovative feature of the double cabin aboard VIVALDI yacht charter is the fact that the floor has integrated hooks, that are subtly incorporated into the ceiling. These two hooks are then used for setting up a full-sized hammock, that dangles above the berth and provides a totally unique experience. You can let the sea sway you while reading a book, or you can have your kids dangle above you, while you enjoy the comfort of the berth below.

Besides the hammock set up, the double cabin is decorated by using a gray color palette, soft edges, smooth curves and a minimalistic approach to design. This means no artworks and no accessories, but plenty of natural light and leg room around the queen-size berth. The ensuite is generously-spacious and modernly decorated, incorporating all the usual amenities, like a spacious shower cabin, a marble sink and a head.

Yacht charter accommodation: twin cabin

A pullman berth in the twin gives it the possibility to accommodate an extra guest, which is the main advantage of this cabin. Designed in a way that does not disrupt the layout of the cabin, the pullman is a practical addition to have, if you want to bring a nanny with your kids or just sleep near your kids while on a yacht.

The primary color of the twin is gray, in many different shades. The surfaces are also texturized, giving out a coarse impression of the cabin, like a pebble found on a beach in Croatia.
The ensuite is equipped with a sink, a head and a luxurious shower cabin.

YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM

The wide swimming platform on VIVALDI yacht charter will provide easy access to the water, thanks to the starboard swimming ladder. In addition, guests will find it very convenient to try different water toys whilst standing on the platform and exchanging advice on how to ride a certain toy with the expert charter crew.

Since VIVALDI yacht charter is an RYA-certified water sports center, the swimming platform will act as a place where you will learn about how to properly ride a jet ski or how to hold your balance on a wakeboard; it will be like “a little school on water”.

The swimming platform is also wide enough to allow jumping with momentum, as well as improvised sunbathing, in form of comfortable sun cushions and a cocktail at arm`s length, thanks to the diligence of your charter crew.

YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS

VIVALDI yacht charter has an incredible offer of different water toys, more than any other yacht in her class, in the entire SuperYachts Croatia catalogue. But, before the toys, it is important to note that this yacht is also an RYA-approved water sports centre, meaning that most of her crew are certified instructors for all the toys on board. This means that you will definitely be in a position to learn to ride a new water toy every day, thanks to the professional guidance and experience of your expert crew.

And you can start with the jet ski, a favourite among charter guests, because it allows swift movement on water, in any direction. Feel the sensation of ultimate freedom as you jump on waves and race with the wind in the beautiful atmosphere of the Croatian Adriatic sea.

Two Sea bobs will be your means of exploring the seafloor around your yacht. These light and soundless electrically-powered motors will propel drivers above or below the water`s surface, giving a glimpse into the wonderous working of underwater flora and fauna in the Adriatic. Combine the Sea bob with the snorkeling equipment and discover what it feels like to be an underwater animal for a couple of hours.

The electric surfboard will provide a new means of movement on water – this crossover toy between surfing and wakeboarding does not need wind or waves to provide a unique feeling of hovering above the turquoise sea.

Inflatables are VIVALDI`s strongest suit; with the inflatable yacht slide, kids will have a blast in their private waterpark, but not before they enjoy being towed on the inflatable banana or donut. Thanks to the experience of your charter crew, there is no risk to safety whatsoever.

When on the subject of towable water toys, guests will have an option between the wakeboard or the waterskis, both equally fun and thrilling to ride, but with different levels of difficulty.

To find peace and serenity on the water, look no further than the stand-up paddleboard or the inflatable kayak – both of these toys will get your close and personal with the water, while also providing a physical activity or a tranquil atmosphere.

Finally, for land-based exploration, VIVIALDI yacht charter also offers her guests a chance to tour Croatia`s islands on two electric bikes, a fantastic addition to a holiday centered around discovering the mysterious interior of islands in Croatia.
