FULL YACHT CHARTER REVIEW

Inspected by Us.

A sleek and futuristic profile with straight lines and accentuated edges is the first impression that TAMARA II yacht charter gives to her guests. The sharp edges also communicate speed, of which TAMARA II has plenty, able to achieve a top speed 30 knots, a remarkable accomplishment for a yacht of this pedigree.

She can take in a total of 8 guests, who will be accommodated in one of 4 cabins, all decorated following the same futuristic style present on TAMARA II yacht charter. With 2 double and 2 twin cabins, charter guests will have several options when choosing sleeping arrangements.

Her length of 21 meters will not stop her from providing all the hallmarks of a typical superyacht charter holiday in Croatia. Leisure and lounging will be found on her smooth and comfortable sunbeds, as the crew serves refreshing cocktails and scrumptious canapes.

Because there will be only 2 crew members, charter guests will notice a more intimate and homey atmosphere, due to the crew treating the yacht as their home. This inviting and private vibe is perfect if you wish to experience all the charms of the Croatian Adriatic sea in a subtle, but thoughtful way. TAMARA II was built by Azimut in 2018, and as such, has certain characteristics only attributed to this excellent luxury yacht shipyard.

The recognizable flairs of Italian design are visible across the main deck, as well as in the guest cabins, where style meets comfort and smart use of space. She is also equipped with stabilizers, which will guarantee a smooth and grounded cruising experience, both underway and at anchor.

When it comes to amenities aboard TAMARA II yacht charter, guests will have at their disposal many different high-tech yacht gadgets, like the exterior BBQ station, located on the spacious flybridge. Both the flybridge and the main deck are intertwined with Bose sound speakers, guaranteeing crisp music and delightful tunes while you enjoy delicious cocktails, made with love by your stewardess.

The flybridge is also equipped with a foldable hardtop, which enables guests to choose the amount of sunlight they want to be exposed to. You can choose between shade while enjoying an alfresco lunch or a dinner under the stars without anything between you and the evening sky.

The front deck lounge also has a similar setup i.e. a bimini above the sunbathing and lounge area, helping guests with acquiring that perfect bronze tan or shielding them from the worst of the noon sun.

A DAY ON THE YACHT

Prepare to experience some of the most incredible nature and crystal-clear seas in Croatia, on your vacation on TAMARA II yacht charter. By booking with SuperYachts Croatia, you are signing up for an adventure of a lifetime, only possible thanks to our local know-how and decades of experience in the charter industry.

You may want to start your journey in Trogir, a medieval coastal town situated in the centre of the Croatian coastline, and very close to Split, the region’s capital. If you plan to arrive with a jet, SuperYachts Croatia can also arrange a VIP shuttle transport from the airfield directly to the marina.

If you arrive with some time to spare, it would be a good idea to check out Trogir and acquaint yourself with this incredible historic place, dubbed the “Town-museum”.

Take a stroll through its medieval core and marvel at the awesome defensive fortifications that were necessary to protect the population from pirates and raiders in the Middle Ages. Experience the hustle-and-bustle of tourists from all around the world as you enjoy premium gelato, walk on polished cobblestone streets and take in the panorama of the aquamarine Adriatic.

If you are hungry, you may also want to sample a delicious menu from one of many fine-dining restaurants. These exclusive establishments offer fresh seafood and terrific local wines, and thanks to your well-connected SuperYachts Croatia broker, you will have a reserved table waiting for you, if you mention it beforehand.

When you are done touring Trogir, head over to the marina, where the crew of TAMARA II yacht charter will be waiting on the dock, with glasses of perfectly-chilled champagne. Once you and your charter party are boarded, follow the stewardess around on a complete yacht tour, ending with the lower deck. Pick accommodations accordingly, and then head out on the main deck aft, just as TAMARA II casts off from the dock and into the blue yonder.

Your first destination is not very fat, though; the nearby island of Drvenik Veli hides excellent opportunities to play with TAMARA II`s water toys around one of countless coves and capes, as well as grab a fantastic meal in family-owned restaurants, where traditional recipes are prepared using local ingredients and freshly-caught seafood.

During the cruise, you may want to sit on the forward lounge, located on the bow. With a mimosa in your hand, follow the swiftly-changing panorama and the trip will be over in no time. Once at location, anchor near the Blue Lagoon and enjoy the exotic atmosphere of the Caribbean, right in the middle of the Croatian Adriatic sea. This incredible location will amaze you with its aquamarine waters and a distinctly Caribbean flair.

Relax and float on a cloud of sweet summer sensations, as TAMARA II yacht charter anchors beneath blue sands. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this place, as warm sea breezes engulf your whole body, energizing you with the sweet spirit of summer in Croatia. In the vicinity, two small isles will provide a perfect chance for a short swim before lunch.

As you take in the atmosphere, you may want to enjoy your lunch first, before going out in the water and savouring the beauty of the Blue Lagoon. For lunch, dine on a cockle risotto with chive butter sauce and soy braised cabbage, followed by a salmon stuffed with wild Croatian herbs, pan-seared in garlic butter.

After a wonderful meal, take to the sea on one of several water toys on TAMARA II yacht charter. Enjoy a paddling adventure on the standup paddleboards, or race the waves on the jet ski. The surrounding seabed is also a great target for a snorkeling expedition. Because of the crystal clarity of the sea, you will enjoy far-reaching views of the clean Croatian Adriatic seafloor.

You can also lounge around your yacht, enjoying the amenities, the style and the luxury of your yacht, as you take in the beautiful panorama, which can sometimes look like straight out of a Hollywood movie. Spend the entire day having fun on the water or lounging around TAMARA II yacht charter or raise anchor and explore the nearby island of Šolta in the afternoon.  Known to be an island of few inhabitants, Šolta is a popular choice for day trips in the greater area of the Split archipelago.

Although it is close to Split, Šolta does offer plenty of beautiful private beaches, as well as excellent restaurants that prepare fresh seafood and local produce according to centuries-old Croatian recipes.

If you decide against going to Šolta, stay at the Blue Lagoon for the rest of the day and experience a wonderful summer afternoon. In the evening, you may want to return to Trogir, or continue onwards to Split, for a bit of that lively summer atmosphere, that is prevalent in all major Croatian coastal settlements during the tourist season.

Once you arrive, the crew can take you to shore by tender or berth in the marina and start your tour. Walk on stone streets and take in the historic atmosphere; regardless of choosing Trogir or Split, both of these cities will definitely be a buzzing beehive of activity.

Summer festivals, but also local performers and artists fill the streets during the summer, and there are a hundred things to see and do. Also, you may want to enjoy your dinner in an exclusive restaurant – just drop your name at the door, because SuperYachts Croatia`s support team already reserved your table. After a fabulous dinner, return to TAMARA II yacht charter for the afterparty.

YACHT CHARTER DINING

When it comes to dining aboard TAMARA II yacht charter, it is important to take into account the capacity of the galley and the availability of the crew to prepare multiple dishes during one charter day.

Your stewardess will be able to fix excellent meals, but a fine dining experience will be better reserved for one of 10 Michelin restaurants, scattered all around the Croatian Coastline.
It is customary that on yachts such as TAMARA II, lunch consists of a light local dish, like a black risotto or a freshly-caught grilled seabass with spinach and potatoes, drizzled with rosemary, garlic, lime and salt.

During the day, you can expect different kinds of finger foods or traditional Croatian deli platters, that contain Pag island cheese, prosciutto, olives and homemade bread. Also available upon request will be a wide choice of beverages, like smoothies, cocktails, champagne, wine and hand-made ice tea for the kids.

For every other dining choice, it would be prudent to create an itinerary with your local crew, about which authentic restaurants you would like to sample. Besides booking tables at Michelin restaurants, your local crew will also reveal information about out-of-the-way restaurants that offer an astounding quality of food in a family environment and welcoming atmosphere

YACHT MAIN DECK

When it comes to TAMARA II yacht charter, she has plenty of secrets for her guests, all tucked together in an extremely eye-appealing package, with the distinctive Azimut signature. Since the Italians are inventors of the luxury yachting lifestyle, yachts designed in Italy show a special understanding of the needs and wants of charter guests. Even though TAMARA II may appear compact, she offers more amenities than some bigger, but older yachts do, while also providing comfort and elegance of Italian design that is second-to-none.

Starting from the aft, her swimming platform is used to carry the jet ski when the yacht is underway, but when the jet ski is launched, this area offers plenty of space to socialize near the azure sea.

Climbing to the main deck using double staircases, guests are welcomed by a C-shaped sofa bench, surrounding the alfresco dining table. A combination of white and beige subtly contrasts the aquamarine colours of the sea, allowing the natural atmosphere to flow freely onto the main deck.

On the portside, a second staircase leads to the flybridge, while either side deck takes guests to the second lounge and sunbathing area, located on the bow of TAMARA II yacht charter. This area of the yacht consists of another C-shaped lounge bench, placed right in front of the main deck helm station windshield, as well as a double sun mattress, just opposite the lounge.

Guests tend to use this area to relax under the sun while TAMARA II is underway; alternatively, ask your crew to set up the retractable bimini and enjoy the shaded atmosphere. This is also the perfect place to take in the fresh sea breezes and the faint scents of salt, lavender and pine. Returning to the main deck aft, guests can step into the interior and experience the main deck salon.

Yacht charter accommodation: main salon & dining area

This space features a very sporty and fashionable interior design, with minimalistic and futuristic characteristics. Guests can immediately sit and relax in the interior lounge area, consisting of an L-shaped sofa to the portside and a regular sofa on the starboard side. With a pop-up TV, this area transforms into a room for watching your favourite film or series in the company of your charter party.

Several meters from the interior lounge is a modular dining table, with a C-shaped bench on the starboard side, while the galley is located opposite it, on the portside. The dividing element between the galley and the dining table is the bar, which will offer a practical place for enjoying drinks after your meals, and communicating without any barriers.

There are barstools on the port side of the bar, with the interior helm station located on the starboard side. This way, all the guests can be a part of the cruising process, asking questions and suggesting locations to your captain, as he steers TAMARA II yacht charter from the confines of the interior salon. The staircase between the barstools and the helm station leads to the lower deck.

YACHT FLYBRIDGE

Guests can arrive on the flybridge by using the portside staircase on the main deck. The stern is free of any amenities, so movable sunloungers are presented to the guests as yet another option for sunbathing. When the sunloungers are removed, this area becomes full of potential for guests who want to stay active on their yacht charter holiday. You can do yoga, pilates or strength exercises, alone or in the company of your charter party; you can also ask your local crew to hire a professional coach for a more serious workout session.

Moving forward, the starboard side is the place for the third dining option, in form of a compact and foldable coffee table and an L-shaped sofa. You will simply enjoy the elevated panorama when dining on TAMARA II`s flybridge, while the open atmosphere allows you to take in all the hallmarks of the Croatian Adriatic.

There is a cooler and refrigeration unit right across the dining table, meaning that guests will always have access to perfectly-chilled beverages, regardless of outside temperatures.
On the tip of the flybridge is the exterior helm station, which provides perfect visibility for guests and the captain. Next to the helm station is an elevated sunbathing surface, on the portside.

Another great thing about the flybridge on TAMARA II yacht charter is that it is equipped with a foldable bimini, which can shield guests from the sun of uncover and let them enjoy all the glory of the evening sky in the Croatian Adriatic.

YACHT LOWER DECK

The lower deck on TAMARA II yacht charter contains 4 cabins: a master cabin, a VIP cabin and two twin cabins, one of which has a bunk bed arrangement.

Yacht charter accommodation: master cabin

The atmosphere in the master cabin is very relaxing and mellow, primarily thanks to light and unassuming beige, white and light brown colours. The queen-sized berth is placed beneath the portside porthole, allowing for a continuous flow of fresh sea air into the cabin.

The starboard side is designed as a mini-lounge area, with two comfortable sofas and a coffee table, located beneath a large window and a porthole combination. Considering the full-beam layout of the master, this accommodation seems to many guests as being much larger than it is, considering the overall length of TAMARA II yacht charter. Being equipped with a regular closet and plenty of storage, as well as an ensuite bathroom, this master provides everything needed for an enjoyable yacht vacation in Croatia.

Yacht charter accommodation: VIP cabin

The bow-placed VIP cabin is brightly decorated, using light beige and eggshell white as the primary colours of the accommodation. This is done to provide as much accentuation to daylight coming in from windows on both sides of the sloped bow wall.

The queen-sized berth provides excellent comfort, but also good stability and sound insulation, being placed in the centerline of the yacht and far away from the engines and other guests. Besides a regular hanging closet and the ensuite bathroom, much of the VIP cabin`s interior décor is minimalistic but still refined with style.

Yacht charter accommodation: twin cabin

The two twins are right across one another; the portside twin being the one with the bunk bed configuration, while the starboard side has the classic two twin berths, parallel to one another and divided by a single nightstand.

Besides that, there are not many differences: both cabins follow a similar design pattern present in the VIP i.e. minimalistic décor, with smooth edges, clean surfaces and lots of light colours (beige and white) to accentuate any incoming daylight, which enters through the portholes. Both twins are also equipped with their own ensuite bathrooms, fitted with a compact shower cabin, a sink and a head.

These twin cabins are usually used as children`s accommodation, when TAMARA II yacht charter is booked for a family vacation, because the kids love the privacy of their own cabin, while also being close to their parents.

YACHT BEACH CLUB & SWIMMING PLATFORM

The swimming platform on TAMARA II yacht charter is usually used to carry the tender, but when the tender is launched, this area becomes a versatile space guests simply enjoy. Allowing for quick access to the sea, the swimming platform can also be used to swap between water toys or simply enjoy being close to the sea, with a cocktail in your hand.

But the best feature of the swimming platform is that it is hydraulic, meaning it can lower more than a meter beneath sea level, creating a compact private beach. You can stand knee-deep in the water and still be able to sip on a refreshing cocktail or sit on the platform and experience what it is like to sit on a sea throne.

YACHT WATER TOYS & WATER SPORTS

For her length, TAMARA II yacht charter has a surprisingly diverse list of water toys, starting with a jet ski, a favourite for most charter guests. This is because this toy allows for unparalleled mobility in the water, enabling you to move faster than the waves or to explore a big chunk of the Croatian coastline in a short period of time. Also, it provides a thrilling ride across the water, after which you will be filled with adrenaline.

Totally opposite the jetski, 2 stand-up paddleboards are a perfect choice if you want to get acquainted with the tranquil side of the Croatian Adriatic sea. Paddle with the rhythm of the waves and sense the flowing movement of the elements that surround you. Return to TAMARA II yacht charter after an intense spiritual experience, grateful and happy.

The tube and the donut inflatable toys are every kid`s favourite plaything, and it is not hard to see why. Being towed with a tender operated by an experienced member of your charter crew, the donut and the tube will bounce on waves, similar to an all-inclusive aquapark experience.

You can also go snorkeling, alone or in the company of your charter party, because there are 8 snorkeling sets aboard TAMARA yacht charter. Lastly, an optional Sea bob will be provided if you mention it to your expert SuperYachts Croatia broker.
