About the Yacht Captain

Captain Andrea Hubicka was born in a small fishing village on the Istrian peninsula, a perfect place to fall in love with the sea. He started sailing when he was six, continuing his passion throughout the entirety of his life. From then, it was a relatively natural transition toward skippering on sailing yachts.

Moving up the ranks, at the age of 26, Captain Andrea was given a First Officer`s position on a superyacht charter, and a captain’s position soon followed. This captain loves his job and everything that goes along with it, like travelling, meeting new people and learning about their culture.

1. Enjoying the privacy at the Golden bay

The beach itself is protected from all sides by steep 20-30 meter cliffs and is virtually inaccessible by any other means except by sea.
